Eight years ago my husband, Lee, and I decided that we both wanted a change in our careers and wanted to take advantage of the beautiful property where we live and enjoy our shared passion for the company and caring of horses.  After receiving approval from the town, clearing the property, constructing the barn and paddocks and putting out our sign we now own and operate Second Act Farm.  We are an equine boarding facility in the rolling hills of Litchfield County of Western Connecticut with 16 stalls on 22 acres in a quiet, private location in the town of Roxbury.  Seeing our dream realized has been the most gratifying adventure we could imagine.  We have two Paint horses whom we enjoy every day.  For more information about us please visit other pages on our web site and get a full idea of what we have to offer.
